Salad Burnett

A member of the rose family, the leaves are fernlike and there are small pink flowers. The young leaves have a clean cucumber flavour, can be used as a substitute for cucumber when only the flavour is required. Handles heat well.

Use in sandwiches and salads and as general garnish. Can also be added to hot dishes shortly before serving.
