The Anglican Church under the Diocese of George decided to utilise the land at the back of the church yard by turning it into a garden.
The church already assists the less privileged members of their society but mainly with highly processed and tinned foods. Cathy Linford who heads the project decided that it would be great to grow a garden and have access to healthier foods in the form of fresh vegetables.
The garden is maintained by volunteers who come to offer their services to the church.
