The Kirchhoffs Sowing Smiles Scratch and Win campaign message is simple, lifting spirits through gardening, sowing seeds and producing smiles.
Along with Kids colouring competitions, free seed packets and Gardening Hampers for lucky prize winners, the Kirchhoffs sowing Smiles campaign also gave back to charities in need.
All shoppers that earned a scratch card, also received a Sowing Smiles branded sunflower seed packet so that no one walked away empty handed. We asked our sales team to each choose a charity they are passionate about. Kirchhoffs sponsored 100 Sowing Smiles branded sunflower seed packets to the charity. Each charity could decide if they would like to sell the packets (packet to be sold for R20.00), or if they would prefer donations in the form of tin food, blankets, toiletries etc. All proceeds were kept by the charity. Kirchhoffs also donated a garden hamper with a retail value of over R1000.00 to use to raise even more funds. By purchasing or donating towards the seed packet gained a supporter’s entry into the raffle for the hamper.
